What is a Criminal Record?
Criminal record is the official recording system where finalized conviction decisions are registered. These records are checked in job applications, public duties, and various licensing procedures.
Deletion of Criminal Record
- Execution of Sentence: After prison sentence is completed
- Restoration of Rights: Restoration of prohibited rights
- Amnesty: Through general or special amnesty
- Statute of Limitations: Automatic deletion after certain period
Archive Record
After the criminal record is deleted, the record is archived. Archive record is deleted after a certain period from execution of sentence:
- Up to 5 years imprisonment: After 5 years
- More than 5 years imprisonment: After 15 years
- Aggravated life imprisonment: Never deleted
