What is Debt Objection?
Debt objection is when the debtor objects to all or part of the debt in execution proceedings initiated against them. The objection must be made within 7 days from the service of the payment order.
Grounds for Objection
- The debt never arose
- The debt has been paid
- The debt has become time-barred
- Creditor initiated proceedings in unauthorized execution office
- The debt amount is incorrect
Consequences of Objection
Objection made within time stops the execution proceedings. For the creditor to continue, they must file an objection cancellation lawsuit or request removal of objection.
